Really nice lioness, even if Lisrian is obviously a lot more demon than this. from https://www.deviantart.com/art/2k-Lioness-717484406

Lisrian returned around lunchtime and X had already prepared some food for the trip she’d mentioned. He was not ashamed of what had happened at Borin’s, though she already knew the outcome when she walked in.
“How’d it go?” she said as she walked in.
“I suspect you know how it went, Lis. Sorry, but you were right.”
“Don’t feel bad, X. It would take a very unusual man to resist when she turns on the charm. And I do mean charm. Don’t worry, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest – really.”
The two gathered up a few things and they began their walk. X didn’t bother to ask where they were going. He wouldn’t know the answer anyway. She held him by his manhood as the proceeded until they’d left the area.
“Lis, she told me a story. A story that has got me thinking… I don’t think she’s a Demon, or at least hasn’t always been one.”
“You’re right, of course. She wasn’t once. And Farnsworth isn’t a masturbater either.”
He digested that. “Then… what are they doing here?”
“Her sins are deep, X. But he went to Heaven. Or at least the Heaven for their religion. He asked for this, and God does not refuse requests of the Blessed, which he is.”
“Her sins… Murder, I gather. And suicide.”
She nodded. “Extenuating circumstances though, so they’re in our sector. She beds just about every guy that comes in, but I think you’ll find she’s no longer interested in you.”
“I think so too. She’s obsessed with seducing men. So, she became a Demon?”
“Yes. It happens. Most Demons were once Angels before the Fall. And they chose their forms. But not all. Some have different origins. But Murder is a serious sin obviously. She’s going to be down here a long ti… I mean, she has a lot to be punished for.”
Suddenly she stopped, as if she’d said something she shouldn’t. X didn’t pick up on it right away though.
“That’s what I thought. Farnsworth isn’t the one being punished here.”
She shook her head. “No, he’s Blessed. He’s here because he wants to be with her. I like her, but darned if I know what he sees in her.”
“The heart loves as it chooses,” he said. Then something finally struck him. “Lis… LIS! What do you mean "a long time?” Is Hell not eternal?!“
She stopped and took his hands in hers. "X, you’re not supposed to know that. Yet. I fucked up.”
“It’s not, is it?”
“No. It’s not eternal. But it’s better for most to think it is. X, do you think God loves his Creation?”
“Well, that’s what we’ve always been taught. Since this place conforms fairly well to that, I assume so.”
“Have you ever wondered then, why he would create Eternal Damnation? If he really loves us all, no matter what we have done in life?”
“Frequently. But now you’re saying it’s not Eternal!”
“Think about it again. Imagine you have a dog. You love your dog more than life itself. Got it?”
“Sure, go on…”
“Now imagine you have two dogs… three. You love them all SO much. But they start fighting, hurting each other. What do you do?”
“Punish them? Train them not to, I suppose.”
“Right. But now imagine they’re not dogs, but people. Intelligent people who will see through simple punishment. But still they hurt each other. They each feel justified, and to some extent, they are. But there must be some way to stop it. First he tries the Commandments on a small test group, to see if that works. For most, it does. But some ask themselves, ‘Well, what if I break the Commandments?’. And they do. Soon the Commandments become just a guideline. But if someone gets too worked up, he breaks them. What punishment could God deliver?”
“Well, I suppose he could strike them down in righteous fury!”
“He doesn’t do that, X. He’s more subtle. He plants the concept of Hell in them – some at least. Divine Retribution WILL come, but not till after you die. And that Retribution will be awful and eternal. Hell.”
“Does it work?”
“Mostly, yes! There are obvious and numerous exceptions, but for years… centuries it basically works. Trouble is, then you get this group who believes in it fighting against that group who doesn’t. Humans are an unruly lot. Suddenly the Commandments only apply to others who believe in them. Those outside can be murdered for not believing. God certainly never intended that!”
“You know a lot about God, it seems.”
“I don’t. I’m just a lowly Demon working in a ‘shallow’ sector of Hell. But I think a lot. And, of course, I see the reality of Hell, not the myth.”
Suddenly they came out of the darkness of hell into full sunlight.
“WHAT THE HELL!?!” X exclaimed. “Lis! Where are we going?”
“Doesn’t matter X. We’re leaving Hell. Just for a little bit.”
“Can we do that?” X asked, blinking away the sunlight and looking at the dazzling display of raw nature in front of him.
The Demon smiled. "Just did! Can you see it then? You’re not blind?“
"I see it! It’s beautiful!”
“It is. It really is.”
“Where are we then? Is this Heaven?”
“No. But it is Paradise. Or a version of it. I don’t really know what religion this particular Paradise is from. It’s a fairly common afterlife-scenario though, especially among the less civilized people.”
“But, no one is here.”
“That’s the best part! Whoever they are, or were, they believed in a Paradise without people. I assume their spirits are here though, watching us. But I think we can intrude, just for a little while. Shall we eat? I’m getting hungry!”
They walked on, till they found a nice, peaceful spot near a lake. The shade overhead was perfect.
“What about ants? Bugs? Mosquitoes? Your fur may protect you, but I’m a feast out here!”
“Paradise, X. No such critters,” Lisrian smiled. “Relax and enjoy yourself.”
X lay back and closed his eyes. His own little Paradise, and a pretty damn cute Demon to share it with too – at least to his eyes now.
“It’s great, Lis. It’s perfect! Why didn’t you tell me we could leave?”
“You had to be punished, X. But… I couldn’t stand it. I think a little respite won’t hurt. Plus, when we return you’ll be that much sorrier, right?”
He sighed. “Yeah, that kinda makes some sense. But this is…”
“Paradise,” she finished for him.
Then he felt her tongue around his penis, and suddenly he realized something else different here. He vowed he wouldn’t let her go until he had nothing left. And, hours later, after some pretty impressive gymnastics that would have made the most ardent porn star proud, he managed his last and fell back to the tall grass, as sated as ever he imagined he could be.
“All that and we haven’t even ate anything yet!” he said, realizing their ‘picnic’ was anything but.
“Speak for yourself! I feel like I’ve drank a gallon!” Lisrian said, laughing and falling on top of him. Her weight felt good and he put his arms around her.
He opened his eyes and looked at her leonine face, lying on him and grinning down. He indicated some spots where she still had some… leftovers. Lewdly, she licked them up, smacking her lips as if it was the most savory sauce she knew.
“My mind would give you more, but I think my body is drained,” he said, still breathing hard but calming down.
“I know you would,” she said, and he noticed the sun was falling towards late afternoon.
She picked up on that. “Yes, we should be heading back. We can eat on the way. Think you’ll be good for a while?”
He nodded, but stumbled when he tried to get to his feet.
“Oh my god, Lis! My muscles are jelly!”
“I expect so after what you put me through!”
“You’re not sore are you?”
She helped him back to his feet. “Well, maybe a little. But it’s a good sore. You kept me pretty turned on.”
As they returned, the darkness enveloped him again as the familiar heat returned.
“Lis, how long do you think I’ll be down here for?”
She looked away from him then before replying. “Not long. Not long at all. X, that depends on you. You are ready to ascend when you, yourself, feel you’ve been punished enough. Do you feel that way already?”
“I… think maybe I do, Lis.”
“So soon you’re ready to leave?” she said, under her breath.
Suddenly he realized what she meant. She didn’t want him to leave. “Well, I’ve got to go sometime anyway, right?”
“You do. X, I’ll set up a meeting with our leader tonight. He makes the decisions. But… I’ve probably revealed too much to you too soon.”
“Satan? I’m going to meet Satan himself?”
The Demon nodded. “You can call him that, I suppose. He has lots of names, some of which would surprise you.”
“I never imagined Satan would let his charges leave, actually!”
“He’s… not the Satan you imagine, X,” she said, but her eyes betrayed some sadness, and he knew why.
